Each butterfly comes in two parts for you to layer, so it creates dimension and movement. Simply add your crystals to the adhesive template on each set of wings, then layer the smaller on top of the larger shape. Each butterfly comes with a small black plastic 'body centre' which also acts as a clip that hold.
